Statutory Proposal

Thank you to everyone who submitted comments and feedback in January and February – including feedback via the e-session held on Wednesday 10th February – about Kingston CofE Secondary School.

Please be assured your feedback and comments during that period have informed the continued planning for the school and its establishment – and a summary of the comments and feedback that was received can be read on page 3 of the Statutory Proposal to establish the school.

As a result of feedback sent to the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in regard to the four-week representation period that was facilitated in January and February 2021, a new representation period is being held, commencing: Friday 23rd April, 2021.

This representation period enables you to provide written feedback – direct to the decision maker, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames – on the Statutory Proposal to establish Kingston Church of England Secondary School from September 2024 onwards.

A copy of the Statutory Proposal can be can be viewed and read here.

By Friday 21st May 2021, any person or persons may object to, or make comments on, the Statutory Proposal by emailing their written response to Matthew Paul, Associate Director for School Place Planning for Kingston Council, at: matthew.paul@achievingforchildren.org.uk

The correspondence/feedback should be denoted: ‘Response to Proposed Kingston CofE Secondary School’.

Responses will then be collated and analysed within annexes to a report to the relevant Kingston Council committee in June or July 2021.
