The Diocese of Southwark covers 12 local authorities across south London and part of Surrey, offering support and advice to 106 Church of England schools and academies and to FE and HE chaplaincies in the Diocese. In terms of our schools, 94% of Diocesan schools are graded Good or better by Ofsted, against a national average of 86% aligned to the Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools. 100% of our Diocesan schools are graded Good or better by Ofsted, against a national average in this case of 94%.

Kingston CofE Secondary School will develop a mutually beneficial partnership with an existing high performing Church of England secondary school, to deliver high quality education from the outset.

The school will be run by a Board of Governors who will be accountable to the charitable Trust which oversees the school.
