The SDBE is delighted to announce that at the Council meeting on 17th June 2021 the Royal Borough of Kingston on Thames approved the new school. The Department for Education approved the school in February 2020. As a Voluntary Aided school the final decision making rested with the Council. This approval is subject to planning permission being obtained and the proposer being granted a lease of the proposed site. Thank you to everyone who supported and commented on this proposal to date. Your comments and observations have been of great interest to both the SDBE and Council. The SDBE will keep you informed of progress towards the opening of this new school.
